A pretty huge yacht harboured in Strömstad yesterday. It draw the attention of my family immadiatelly, esp. that it turned out it belonged to the richest man in the world: Bill Gates. Right now the owner is one of his best friends the Hungarian origin Charles Simonyi the father of Word and Excell (read more at Wikipedia). He used to live in Copenhagen so probably he in on a Scandinavian cruising tour. It is said that he speaks good Danish and he still has a nice Hungarian accent when talking in English. And it is also known that after getting wealthy enough he quitted Microsoft and is more into Open Source...so he is one of the lucky ones who becomes a better person after getting tremendously rich. (Maybe the Hungarian blood - says the Hungarian patriot in me.) Well, Strömstad has already hosted many celebs from Diana Ross, the Norwegian Royal family (incognito) and now the Microsoft-guru, Simonyi.
