More international music please

Yesterday I was at the gyms at the hospital (have to exercise my shoudlers before I wear them out completely :-P ). They usually have the radio on (either the local chanel or some other Swedish which has popular music). For my biggest surprise they were broadcasting a popural arabic dance song! (Well, sometimes you can hear some Persian dancemusic too since we have Europe's biggest Persian discoteque in Stockholm.) It was refreshing after those many minutes of Western popmusic.I think it is a great idea to broadcast different popular music, not only from the Western charts! There are many different ethnic radio stations here, but the big stations don't represent the variations, only the majority taste - which is a big shame. Arabic dancemusic is beautiful, full of passion and fine details - and a little varioation on rhythm too, not always the European beat!
I hope to hear more Arabic, Persian, Balkan, Thai or Ukrainian beat! (Maybe Hungarian too? ;-) )
